About the LoneStar Pool League

The LoneStar Pool League is an independent billiard league owned and operated by Don Wright in Houston, Texas. The league originated from a nine ball league which was started in 1992 and then became an eight ball league later that year. The league has undergone several changes over the past few years to become one of the most reliable leagues in the State of Texas. Our base of operation is in the Houston, Texas area however we do have plans to grow in other areas.

The LoneStar Pool League is also experienced in managing local, in-house, and regional pool leagues, not only in pool halls, but also in sports bars, pubs, taverns, recreational centers, community centers, private clubs, and churches. We provide the teams with players manuals, score sheets, weekly team stats, including running handicap scores, schedules, rule books, and National Sanctioning with American CueSports Alliance. Our players are members of not only the LoneStar Pool League but also of a National Sanctioning Body which entitles them to compete in Local, State, & National level tournaments.

The LoneStar Pool League's primary mission is to provide a form of recreation to the amateur pool player to participate in an organized forum for competition in the sport of Pool.
