New Season Starts on 11/10/2011

Our new season will commence on November 10th, 2011. We are in the process of setting up the new schedule which will be out next week. Those players who have played at least 8 weeks and the teams that have played at least 8 weeks will be qualified to participate in the ACS Nationals in Las Vegas between May 5th to May 11th, 2012 at the fabulous Tropicana. There will be fun for all with many different pool events, such as individual, team, ladies, and much more. You can visit the ACS website for more information. Click the Link below:

Also, at the end of the up-coming season, one team will be awarded with a free entry from the ACS Standard Division 8 Ball Championship Tournament. Perhaps that might be your team! Sign up now for the next season which will last about 20 to 22 weeks. The final number of weeks played will be determined by the final number of participating teams. Those players who have played in the last season will not be required to purchase new memberships as they have already paid their LSPL membership fees. All new players will be required to pay their $20.00 LSPL membership fee. Please see the note below on LSPL & ACS Membership Fees.

 LSPL & ACS Membership Fees
In order to play in the LoneStar Pool League you must be a member of both the LSPL and the ACS. $20.00 takes care of both the LSPL and the ACS annual membership fees. If you are a member of another league and have already paid for your ACS fees, your LSPL membership fee is still $20.00. We pay the ACS fees as a courtesy to our members. Your membership fee is annual and will be due within the first two weeks of play. The membership will be in effect for one year starting June 1, and ending on May 31, 2012. This membership is valid for all divisions of the LoneStar Pool League.

Weekly Fees
Our weekly fees are $10.00 per player per week.

Score Sheet
It is very important to fill out the players full name on the score sheet and also compare scores at the end of the match to make sure both teams scores are the same. Please indicate which player paid for their fees. Any additional comments can be entered on the back side of the score sheet.

Rules: WSR
Yes we are a sanctioned league by the ACS, however for our local rules we use the LoneStar Rule Book for League play and World-standardized Rules of  Play  for National Championship play. There are a few differences, only minor with respect to touching moving balls, coaching infractions, and etc. Remember, LoneStar League Rules for Local Play.

Table Sizes
Some Sponsors have both bar size pool tables & 8ft pool tables. Both table sizes are sanctioned by the ACS, therefore it is the Sponsors choice of table size.

Remember that it is the visiting team's responsibility to drop off the completed stats on the same night of play. If you can't drop them off on the same night of play, they are due in the office by noon the following day after play.
